Job Title: Marketing Manager
Introduction
Mabalingwe Game Reserve and its connected companies are hiring a talented and motivated candidate to work as the Groups Marketing Manager.
The environment is extremely fast-paced, and you must be able to cope and be flexible enough to embrace change and still produce.
Duties & Responsibilities
Full Marketing Manager functions, including but not limited to:
- Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
- Organise and oversee advertising/communication campaigns for social media, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness, and competition ventures
- Initiate and control surveys to assess client requirements and dedication
- Write copy for marketing distribution (brochures, press releases, website material etc.)
- Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities.
- Monitor the progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance.
- Collaborate with financial staff in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
- Preparing purchase orders and issuing credit notes.
- Maintaining good product knowledge to ensure all benefits are communicated to customers.
- Liaising with customers and addressing any queries.
- Participating in developing new products or improving existing outcomes within the industry.
- Assisting the sales team in negotiating market segments and areas of new potential clients.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and establishing innovative ideas to increase sales.
- Ensuring quotations are communicated effectively to customers and distribution centers.
- Compiling quotations and following up on orders.
- Invoice generation and Back Order management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Must be fluent in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Proven experience as a marketing manager or similar role
- Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
- Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
- Familiarity with social media and web analytics
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- BSc/BCom in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline
- Design and Graphic design knowledge beneficial
Package & Remuneration
The position is graded C4 [R14 089.80 – R23 389.07]CTC, Pension/Provident Fund, 50% Medical Aid Contribution
