A very busy restaurant (*400 Seater) on a Wine Estate is looking for an innovative chef to run the kitchen and come up with brilliant ideas/memes
Duties & Responsibilities
Young, dynamic Creative Chef urgently needed to Run the kitchen of a 380 / 400 seater busy restaurant in Constantia
Run and supervise your team in the kitchen
Ala Carte menu
Food preparation and hands-on cooking Menu Design (Chef specials)
QUALITY CONTROL / Temperature control when handling meat, fish and vegetables
Managing the pass Ensuring orders expedited timeously, in accordance with the service and food standards
Ensuring kitchen safety and hygiene Standards are in place and maintained
Chemical checks according to regulations
Liaise with the Restaurant Manager and together come up with great ways to draw in the crowds
Assist with Catering for Events / Picnics and other functions
Desired Experience & Qualifications
5 – 8 years restaurant experience (400Pax)
5 – 8 years experience running/supervising a team.
Must be able to work under pressure.
Must be innovative and creative
Have experience in a large Kitchen / Restaurant
Package & Remuneration
up to 45K neg on experience.
