Job Title: Key Accounts Manager / Executive

Introduction

Itec SA has an exciting vacancy for a Key Accounts Manager / Executive. The main focus of the role is to market the financial services and products to dealers and customers, ensuring the achievement of turnover and gross profit targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Establishment of a working relationship with dealers

  • Set up / update procedures and communication throughout the dealer network.
  • Ensure Dealers Agreements and any additional documentation are signed and complete as and when required.

Maximise profitable business from existing dealers and achieve set targets

  • Develop and maintain the relationship with the dealer principal, sales staff, and dealer staff.
  • Regularly visit the dealer.
  • Where necessary, travel/ visit customers to obtain information required for approval.
  • Monitor the type of deals received and approval ratios and ensure that they are in line with expectations.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets as agreed with management.
  • To achieve year on year growth from dealers.

Monitor and ensure service level requirements

  • Ensure that deals submitted meet minimum information requirements.
  • Ensure that contracts are delivered timeously.
  • Ensure that contracts are correctly completed and are collected timeously.
  • Train dealers’ sales staff and administrative staff on information requirements and competition of documentation.

 

Assist dealers on financial packages on clients that are available

  • Calculating special rates for deals where requested.
  • Update any changes and/or amendments.
  • Develop new structures to meet the dealers’ market requirements.
  • Understand the benefits of rentals and the ability to promote rentals as opposed to other financing options.
  • Basic understanding of Credit and the ability to do a basic interpretation of a set of financial statements.
  • Basic understanding of the terms and conditions of a rental agreement.
  • Understand the different facilities we offer, including cession and ceding.

Promoting dealers’ incentives:

  • Motivate and assist all sales staff.
  • Monthly incentive update.

General:

  • Dealers/ Customer queries relating to contract and billing.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Essential qualifications

  • Matric
  • Commercial degree is preferrable.

Essential experience

  • 2 – 3 years rental experience
  • Numeracy skills
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to read financial statements
