Job Title: Software Developer
Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Software Developer to join our dynamic team, based in Johannesburg or Cape Town (we run a Hybrid system at work).
Purpose:
- Software Engineer to design, develop and install software solutions for clients on our SAAS platform.
The ideal candidate should be interested in Ai, Machine Learning, Chatbots and Automation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build integration channels to 3rd party services.
- Build out the SAAS platform with no innovations and functionality.
- Build robust and stable code (build once and sell many).
- Knowledge of coding languages (JavaScript, Node.js, and Express and frameworks/systems (Mongo, Angular, Node, Kibana, elastic search, Git).
- Communicate and document issues to the technical.
- Time management.
- Communication.
- Responsiveness.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any other technical discipline; or equivalent working experience.
- Experience working on SAAS products, Chatbots and Telephony – advantageous.
- 3 – 5 years experience as a Software Developer.
Skills:
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including Node.js and Express.
- Good understanding and knowledge of GoLang for web services.
- Proficient understanding of Docker.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
