What’s in it for you?

We could write a list of all the cliche answers such as “Growth”, “Opportunity” and all that, but that’s not what we’re about. The core reason why we motivate anyone to join our team is freedom. Developers can become quite stagnant in their roles within a company, but we are pushing the boundary of “best practice” by trying new technologies and solutions whenever possible. We allow our developers (even our Juniors) to influence our tech stack! If you think a new technology or alternate framework will better us we will endeavour to make it happen! Additionally, as a junior, you will not be stuck debugging a seniors code all week. You don’t need to spend months or years proving yourself to one day contribute to the development of a project, we will throw you into the deep end and let you decide if you’re gonna sink or swim; and if you’re struggling the team always has your back!

What will my role entail?

JavaScript, JavaScript, and more JavaScript. We currently utilize NodeJS, React, MongoDB & AWS for the majority of our tech stack. The more JS you know the more projects you can work on. There is always room for a new language/framework to be introduced to our stack as long as you can correctly motivate its inclusion. All developers at our company are required to spend time with our design team to learn about UI/UX best practices so that your applications look and feel as good as they function. Additionally, from time to time you can expect a senior developer to bring you into a project where they are trying something new and want to get your input/assistance with bringing it to life.
