Job Title: Senior Manager Maintenance
Introduction
Foskor is the leading South African supplier of granular fertilizers, the core ingredient in nitrogen, phosphate and potassium fertiliser products known as NPKs. It is also a commercial producer of phosphoric and sulphuric acids and magnetite (a by-product of the phosphate beneficiation process), which are sold both locally and abroad.
The Senior Manager of Maintenance will be involved with strategic planning activities for the company and manage the entire maintenance and engineering services division.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans
- Compile and control departmental budget
- Develop, maintain and implement safety strategies
- Ensure effective project management
- Ensure effective management and control of electrical HT and mechanical services
- Compile monthly reports
- Ensure effective control of staffing requirements
- Develop and performance manage staff
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
- BSc / B Tech Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
- Post Graduate Management qualification
Ideal Requirements
Qualifications: (Same as minimum plus the following)
- Post Graduate Management qualification
- Computer literate in Foskor maintenance system, DCS, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Certificate in Production/Operations and Productivity Management
Experience:
- 8 years in a Chemical plant environment at the middle management level.
- General knowledge of the plant will be advantageous to the applicant.
- Leadership and management qualities
- Knowledge of the production environment.
Ideal Requirements
Experience: (Same as a minimum plus the following)
- Relevant Process plant experience. (At least 5 years).
