We are recruiting to fill the following position below:
Job Title: Millwright – Mechanical Presses Experience Essential
Introduction
Well-established Engineering company situated in Umboginitwini, south of Durban seeks a Millwright with at least 3 years post-qualification experience.
The automotive industry is an advantage
Experience with mechanical presses and rotating equipment and PLC experience is essential
Duties & Responsibilities
- Fault finding and problem-solving during equipment breakdowns.
- Preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Install and repair various types of mechanical equipment.
- Complete job cards and time sheets.
- Manage critical spares.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric Certificate.
- Trade Tested Millwright.
- At least 3 years as a qualified Mechanical Millwright (in the automotive industry would be an added advantage).
- Experience with mechanical presses and rotating equipment is essential
- Millwright with PLC experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong technical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Understanding production equipment and processes.
Package & Remuneration
Competitive salary plus benefits. Shifts are 07h00 – 15h30 and 20h00 – 04h30.
