Job Title: Qualified Accountant
Introduction
Warehouse based in Silvertondale, Pretoria, is looking to employ a Qualified Accountant.
We are seeking a dynamic accountant to handle the full accounting function of our logistics and export company.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Procurement
- Pricing
- Processing and balancing of multi-currency transaction accounts
- Full Debtors and Creditors function:
- Matching and processing of invoices
- Credit notes
- Payment allocations
- Reconciliations and queries
- Collections
- Credit & Vendor applications
- Petty Cash
- Cashbook to trial balance
- Assisting with monthly management statements
- General admin and filing
- Control accounts and general ledger reconciliations
- Full payroll function including relevant return submissions
- E-filing
- VAT201 return calculation and submission
- Communicating with SARS regarding any tax matters that may arise
Desired Experience & Qualification
Desired Experience & Qualification
- B.Com Accounting/BAccounting Degree
- Requires 2 years’ accounting experience
- Sage One Accounting experience advantageous
- Sage Payroll experience advantageous
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Dropbox and TeamViewer experience
- Ability to handle numerous tasks within a highly pressurized environment
- Prepared to work late when expected. Flexible working hours negotiable
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
Package & Remuneration
R35 000.00 – R40 000.00 Negotiable, depending on current package and experience.
