Job Title: Group Central Master Data Controller
Introduction
Responsible for operational support and master data maintenance across different systems implemented within the group. Thus, ensuring that the purchasing and creditors functions are optimally functioning.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform all master data activities in compliance with defined processes. This includes material master data, vendor master data, and loading service level agreements and supply agreements. Both Abaca and DMS are to be maintained as any other system that may be required.
- Collaborate with relevant department’s subject matter experts to ensure data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
- Ensure data integrity in all databases, analyze results, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide input in the continuous update of vendor master records creation and maintenance procedures
- Ensure agreements and trackers are timely and accurately maintained.
- Conduct data cleaning to rid the system of old, unused data, or duplicate data for better management and quicker access.
- Support external / Internal audit and internal control reviews.
- Highlight process gaps and inefficiencies, and proactively seek solutions to increase productivity and level of service.
- Allocate access to DMS users once approval has been obtained. Maintain the system so that employees no longer employed are removed timeously on exiting the company. Ensure this is part of the HR SOP.
