CBi Electric invites unemployed youth to apply for Toolmaker Apprenticeship Programme 2023.

CBi Electric Telecom Cables (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a Toolmaker Apprentice in the Engineering Services Department.

The successful applicant should have the following minimum qualifications:

Qualifications

• N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Fitting and machining theory, and mechanic technology Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science

Skills and abilities

• Good communication skills.
• Driven, highly self-motivated
• Great attention to detail and an aptitude for engineering
• Physically fit with good vision
• Mechanical or Electrical experience as an assistant will be an advantage
• Lathe and Milling machine experience will be an advantage
• Must have his/her own transport
