Job Title: PrEng/PrTech Electrical engineer/Technologist with ECSA registration
A well-established electrical contracting company is looking for a professional electrical engineer or technical engineer.
A Well established electrical contracting company is in search of a competent PrEng/PrTech Electrical engineer who is registered with the ECSA.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor the work process
- Perform quality assurance testing
- Enforce safety requirements
- Replace construction equipment
- Handle both low and high-voltage equipment and connections such as lighting systems, standby power generating plants, power distribution systems, and other power devices.
- setting out sites.
- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
- Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets, and/or timescales
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
- Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Knowledge and experience in working with High, Medium, and low-voltage connections and materials would be and advantage
Package & Remuneration
The appointment is on a consultation basis, and remuneration will be market related.
