Job Title: Junior CAD Designer Draughtsman
Introduction
An established mechanical engineering firm in the military vehicle design environment is seeking a junior CAD Designer / Draughtsman seeking to gain experience on an on-the-job training principle.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Creating 2D manufacturing drawings will be the applicant’s primary duty.
- 3D CAD design of mechanical structures and mechanisms as one gains experience.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Draughting Diploma / Computer-assisted engineering graphics qualification
- 0-1 year experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to work on Microsoft Teams
- Must be willing to travel overseas
- Experience in Creo and /or Siemens Solid Edge will be an advantage
- Ability to work without supervision and take initiative and be pro-active
- Good teamwork skills
Package & Remuneration
- 3-month probation period
- 2-year fixed term contract with the option to extend
- Market-related hourly tariff
- No other company benefits
- On-site Silver Lakes, Pretoria
- Own Transport
